Workin for a livin

So, the idea that struck is still in the initial stages...it will work, but getting supplies donated is going slow. (I need a metric ton of neckties)

Working on some really cute shrugs and have about 7-8 monkeys almost done. I also think I've worked out the design issues with my purses, so should be back on those soon.

Love it when things start to come together!!!

Slight delay

Sorry for the delay - it looks like the primo shopping time on Etsy is Monday evenings. It makes the most sense for me to hold off listing my new items and opening the store until the peak shopping moments. Newly listed items show up on the Etsy home page and any boost I gan get will help.

Launching on 11/01/08

Monkeys from Mars will officially launch on November 1st!!!!

In progress - lots of adorable onesies, tons of ultra groovy purses, some leg/arm warmers and who knows what else will be done before the launch! (Maybe a sock monkey or two?)

Oh, and a revamped logo - yay!

Back in business

Nothing like trying to start a new business to tempt fate into making you sick. Blah. Ah well, it's over & I'm back to work. :-)

Monkeys from Mars is prepping to go live! 

Soon I'll have the store bio, shipping policies and such online. Not sure if I'm happy with the logo, but it's a first step. I'm sure it will be revised and tweaked. 

I'm about to take a break from the virtual and start back working on tons of funky monkey merchandise.......too fun!

I've decided that the monkey's butt looks blurry. Blah. Is it just my tired eyes, or is his butt fuzzy?
